Message Groups

The Message groups area allows you to adjust the list of messages for existing groups or create a new group. Note that you can create only a message group that starts with X*, Y* or Z*. 

According to these message groups, you can group or filter the specific messages that are displayed in the Messages tab. 

The following message groups are available:

• COLLECTOR – Messages from collectors: Defines the list of messages that are triggered in the collector's logic.

• DEBUG –Debugging messages: Defines the list of messages that are triggered from the debug action.

• EXCLUDED – Excluded messages: Defines the list of messages to be excluded from the Default view. For more information about the default view, see the chapter Messages.

• INTERNAL – Internal messages: Defines the list of messages that are triggered in internal processing

• SYSTEM –System messages: Defines the list of messages that are relevant to the system. 

Message List 

The Message list area allows you to define a specific list of messages for each group. You must fully define a message by providing a valid message ID and number. For more information about determining these technical message details, see the chapter Messages.
